The cottage style accommodation consists of a separate sleeping pod called The Sleep Cloud, a living/dining area with a fully equipped kitchenette, and an inside private bathroom with a shower. All towels, bedding and kitchen linen is provided.
Featuring mountain views, taradise provides accommodation with a private open-air bath and shower with on-demand hot water, a garden and barbecue facilities, a short walk from Middleton Bay and the Ōpunakē Loop trail. This property offers access to a terrace, as well as a large sundrenched covered deck which also serves as covered outdoor dining area with a large table and chairs. There is free on-site private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking. There is an eclectic library of books and magazines for rainy day entertainment. The cottage is on a solar power system.
Guests at the apartment will be able to enjoy activities in and around Ōpunakē, like cycling, swimming, running, walking and fishing. The township of Ōpunakē is highly regarded for its cafes and second hand shops as well as TheŌpunakē Open Studio and Galleries Circuit. Not only are there several great choices for evening eating but the town is also home to the very special Everybody's Theatre and offers live theatre from the Ōpunakē Players.
Hollard Gardens is 30 km from and it is approx 25 km to Cape Egmont Lighthouse. The Dawson Falls DOC centre is less than 40 kms away and offers spectacular views over South Taranaki. This is also the entry point for many beautiful mountain walks for all levels of difficulty. The nearest airport is New Plymouth Airport, 75 km from the accommodation.

We try to keep the use of chemicals confined to environmentally friendly biodegradable products which are primarily sourced from The Eco Store. These are supplemented by non petrochemical cleaners such as citrus from our gardens and vinegar.
There is a cleaning fee of $20.00 per booking
The accommodation is monitored by a series of security cameras around the perimeter. These do not interfere with the user's privacy. The cottage is set down a private driveway and is very secluded. The windows all have ventilation/security catches on them.
The owners will access the garden area to feed the ducks and chickens but otherwise the spae is very secluded and private with no other users sharing facilities.
