I love to walk out to this point as it is from here that you get the best (IMHO) shots of our Maunga, Mt Taranaki. Always the first morning light rising over the horizon and lighting up the shoulders of The Maunga draws me to this place of inspiration. On this occasion there were also a flotilla of Canada Geese to enjoy on the banks of the Waiaua River.
